Fantails: Using sketching and water colours.

With the help of Graham Dodd, we have been learning how to sketch birds.  

 We have been learning how to use a sketching pencil to make light and dark shading.  Then we used water colours to bring our fantails to life.  

These are our fantails that we showcased in the Pohutukawa Team display,  
Our Place - Our Forest,  at the Grey Lynn School Art Exhibition.

    Wow Room 2. You certainly brought your fantails to life. I like the way you used the watercolors, the fantails look like the cheeky little birds that they are. Did it take you long to do them.
